Our team here at AZ CARE hope that this message finds you well,
Navigating uncertainty is nothing new to our organization but finding our footing during this time has proved challenging. When fear sets in, we often feel the need to shut down and close ourselves off from the world, but luckily you continue to show us that is not the case. We feel eternally grateful from the outpouring of love we have received from our community during this challenging time.
When the Arizona Stay-At-Home Order was given our rescue experienced another moment of uncertainty as to what that would mean for us and the 150+ animals we currently have in care. Fortunately our non-profit is counted as an essential organization because our services are a necessity for the life of animals in our state. Like the state-run shelters, we will continue to do adoptions and serve the most vulnerable of the animal community. We ask that you consider opening your hearts at home to adopting a forever friend during this time.
2019 was a banger year for AZCARE! We are so thrilled with where our rescue has traveled... Learn more...

Emergency Tail Amputation Fundraiser for Pregnant Kitty
This pretty girl was living outside for quite a while. At only a year old, she has been through some hard times. The woman that was feeding her noticed she had some damage to her tail. She contacted us for help and we answered the call.

Help Erin in her fight against Breast Cancer!
Not very long ago, a wonderful and giving dog foster for AZ CARE received the news that no one wants. "You have Breast Cancer."
Erin is such a caring and giving person, opening her home to a number of dogs and puppies, giving them an amazing start to their life while they wait for their forever homes.
In 2019 we adopted out over 300 kittens and cats, and ended the year with just under 100 cats and kittens still in the rescue, looking for their forever homes.
Each kitten, from birth to adoption, costs an average of $140.00 in food, litter, medical, microchips, and overall care.
The proceeds from every shirt will go directly to the costs for the animals; to make sure they're happy, healthy, and ready for their forever families.
